Strength upright meaning
Strength shows a woman gently holding the mouth of a lion, with an infinity symbol above her head. She is not fighting the lion. She is calm, and the lion is calm too. The card is about taming your fears and instincts with patience and care.
Upright, Strength means inner strength, resilience and gentle persuasion. You can handle a difficult situation without losing your temper. It says to lead with compassion and trust your courage.
A real-life example: someone faces a hard conversation with a difficult relative. Instead of shouting, they stay calm and kind and hold their ground. That is Strength.
Strength reversed meaning
Reversed, Strength points to self-doubt, insecurity or running out of energy. You may be letting fear or anger take over, or feeling powerless. It can also be a sign that you are being too hard on yourself.
